As we welcome back our undergraduates for Fall Term 2012, our BAA Board hopes all Alumni are well, having enjoyed a fun and relaxing summer.

The House looks great! The wood floors on the first floor were once again sanded down, stained and sealed. Sunglasses were necessary to view on Day 1. Walls throughout the house were painted. The basement was supposed to have been painted too and the floor power-washed and sealed but undergraduate storage of furniture, air-conditioners, dressers, etc, precluded the tasks' completion prior to move-in. I am happy to report that the Fall 2011 Pledge Class has stepped up to handle this project. Further, they will create a gym in the former boiler room. I am also pleased to report that the House is at capacity with 53 live-ins and 20 out-of-house brothers for the Fall 2012 semester.

The exterior has benefited from additional lighting, security cameras and a change in the fence line along Fairmount Avenue eliminating the gate. Please do not hesitate to phone me should you have any ideas for future projects.

I am proud to boast that we have a great group of guys comprising our BAA Board. Thankfully immediate past President Ron Gorodesky '79 and immediate past Treasurer Steve Witten '78 have both remained active to help guide David Minkoff '81 (BAA Treasurer) and me. The remainder of the Board includes Stuart Blacker, Mark Halsman, Richard Marks, Moss Walden, Michael Jaffe, Ira Bushman, and Ken Caplin along with young studs Barry Eisman, Dan Otto, Adam Dorfman and Adam Roseman.

Our younger Board Members are working closely with the undergraduate board and brotherhood to reinvent our Rush Program. Their next task will be to restore lost traditions in our Pledge Program. With regard to Rush, please forward me via email This email address is being protected from spambots. Homecoming is rapidly approaching on October 26 - 28. The weekend features a game versus Big 10 rival Ohio State at 6PM. We all realize how tough times are for our alma mater at the moment and there is no better way to demonstrate your support than by returning to the school that we love that brought us all together.

As you know, next year will be our 100th year anniversary. We are interested in orchestrating a top shelf event to commemorate the occasion. We have a lot of ideas and welcome your ideas too as well as anyone that would like to help co-chair the event. I would like at least 2 brothers from each decade as co-chairs. Please email me to join the committee. Also, please start sending me pictures and stories, preferably via email, to help capture the many memories. We also welcome your Beta Sig memorabilia to create a new display area within the House for all Brothers and visitors to enjoy.

Our Lifetime Dues Membership Plaque is scheduled for unveiling at Homecoming 2012. Please consider becoming a lifetime member by paying $2490. You will no longer be billed yearly $249 invoices while also receiving a commemorative Beta Sig watch with your donation.

Last but not least, the internet provides us an opportunity to connect 24/7/365 with all of our Brothers. Hence, please go to our website, www.betasigmabeta.com and share what is happening in your life.

Thanks for reading the President's Report. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for our 2012 Homecoming.
