Thon 2012: For those of you that have not yet heard, Thon raised $10,686,924.83 for the kids this year. Beta Sig teamed up with KD and raised $86,000. Two of our undergraduates, Jeff Bloom '12 and Josh Windt '12, danced the entire 46 hours. They were supported by all Beta Sigs but special kudos to Jay Robinson, Jon Paul, Lee Minkoff and the entire Fall 2011 Pledge Class. If you have never attended Thon, I highly suggest you consider attending at least once to witness Penn State at its best.

Curing Autism Now (CAN): Please consider participating by walking, running and donating to the number one philanthropic Greek event in the country benefiting Autism Speaks on April 14. This event was the brainchild of Beta Sig's Adam Dorfman and Andrew Moses. The event was founded in 2005 and this year could bring a raised total since it's creation to over $1 million!

Parents Weekend: This years Parents Weekend will be Friday, April 13 through Sunday, April 15. Parents Weekend coincides with our CAN event. We already have commitments totaling 165 people. Highlights of the weekend will include a dinner at the House catered by Bobby Scott and musical entertainment by LoJack. Rumor has it that Jaffe might be playing air guitar too so you won't want to miss out! Please get to either David Minkoff at This email address is being protected from spambots. Blue White Game: Blue White Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 21, 2012. It will be the first without JoePa since most of us were born. PSU's 2013 recruiting effort is off to a great start. Come out to support new head coach Bill O'Brien and witness David "Dirt" Lipson as he tries to convince the freshman head coach that he still has one more year of eligibility.

Founders' Award Dinner: This year's Founders' Award Dinner will be held on Thursday, May 17 at Philadelphia Park Race Track & Casino. I am personally very excited to honor two current BAA Board Members - our immediate past President Ron Gorodesky and immediate past Treasurer Steve Witten. Please plan on joining us to honor two brothers that have done so much for our House. Otherwise, join us for the roasts which I understand will prove merciless! The food is always great, the drinks bottomless and the bonding unparalleled.

Homecoming 2012: This year's Beta Sig Homecoming will feature the number one home game on our schedule as we battle The Ohio State University. It will likely prove to be an ESPN Game Day. We have rooms reserved at The Atherton and Marriott. The event will be chaired by party planner extraordinaire Scott Granoff and Little Sister Toby Greenwald. Stay tuned for details.
